Instagram Integration

Display the Instagram feed in your sidebar with a widget or post content via a shortcode, including your Instagram profile image, number of followers, as well as number of comments and likes per each image in the feed.

Instagram API

PremiumKits doesn’t require any API connection to display the Instagram feed by default.

In some rare cases, however, it may fail to fetch data from the Instagram server, and thus using the Instagram API is required.

It’s very easy to connect your Instagram account:

  1. Go to Settings → Connect → Instagram.
  2. Connect your personal or business account.

Important Note

When connecting via the API, the number of followers in the feed and social links, profile image, number of likes, and comments are available to Instagram business accounts only.

Please make sure you link your Instagram business account to a Facebook page. This is required to display additional data such as number of followers, profile image, number of likes, and comments. Please follow this link to learn more about linking your Instagram account to a Facebook page.

When connecting via the API, you may display the Instagram feed or number of followers in the Social Links of an account that you own. You’re unable to display data from an Instagram account, which you do not own.

Widget

You may display your Instagram feed with a widget in your sidebar by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to Appearance → Widgets.
  2. Drag the Instagram widget to the desired widget area.
  3. Configure available widget options and click Save.
